Description: ADA accessible shelter with 3 grills, electricity, and water. ADA-accessible restrooms located 100 feet across asphalt parking lot. Two designated parking spaces in front of asphalt walk that leads to shelter. Nearby amenities include playground and sand volleyball courts. Tennis and volleyball courts may be reserved for a fee by calling 309-682-1200.

NOTICE REGARDING UPDATED PARK HOURS: (a) Except as otherwise determined by the Executive Director, parks shall be generally open to the public every day of the year during designated hours; (b) Unless otherwise posted or approved by the Executive Director, parks shall open at sunrise and shall close at sunset. All use of parks shall be in accordance with this Conduct Ordinance.

Default time blocks for shelter reservations are 7:00AM - 6:00PM. To request a permit for use of this shelter, please select the "7:00AM - 6:00PM" time block below. At the next step, you will be asked to indicate your expected arrival and departure times. If you expect to arrive before 7:00AM or depart after 6:00PM, please select "sunrise" or "sunset" from the appropriate menus.
